Look at your giant already defeated. God has conquered it all. Despite what you are facing, look beyond the giant, the victory is already awaiting. You and I are to TRUST in God, when he said he conquered the world, it means he defeated every circumstance that you and I  have faced and will face. The waves that crashes unto our lives its not meant to drown us, it is meant for us to cling on to HOPE, which is the anchor of our lives which is strong and sure and keeps us safe. The storms may be strong but his presence is stronger.  Blessings M 

I have found that as long as we do not understand our identity we limit the positive impact that we have on others for his kingdom. There are real forces that whisper lying insinuations that assault our minds in hopes that we begin to believe it and eventually turn on ourselves then to others. We are bombarded with these negative messages that tell us we are not good enough but do not give in, do  not conform and shrink to those lies because it's just that, they are lies. You are a masterpiece and more than able.  What marvelous love the Father has extended to us! Just look at it—we’re called children of God! That’s who we really are. But that’s also why the world doesn’t recognize us or take us seriously, because it has no idea who he is or what he’s up to. 1 John 3:1 Blessings M

Fear is the number one tool by Satan to keep people from being in God's will.  What fear is trying to take a hold of you right now? What threat or trouble are you facing?  It’s not always easy, and it often comes down to a choice:  Choosing not to allow fear and anxiety to control your life.  Choosing to guard your heart.  Choosing to focus your mind on what is truth in the midst of uncertain times. We might still feel afraid, but we can believe that God is with us. We may not be in control, but we can trust the One who is. We may not know the future, but we can know the God who does.

Don't fall for those kinds attacks against you. The battlefield is in the mind so take every thought captive.The Word of God is our sword of the spirit. Jesus was the Word made flesh. Our lives are to become the Word of Jesus made flesh. As his body, we, too, become living swords. Take those promises and fight back! The weapons we use are not human ones. Our weapons have power from God and can destroy the enemy’s strong places. We destroy people’s arguments,     and we tear down every proud idea that raises itself against the knowledge of God. We also capture every thought and make it give up and obey Christ.   Corinthians 10:4-5 -M

This is to all the young girls, wives, moms, to all daughters. As I was pretty much bed ridden this week, I had a strong urge to read the final chapters of a book  I am reading titled Girls with Swords by Lisa Bevere. I have been so empowered, my spirit stirred and it made me realize how much more authority I in fact have in Jesus.  This book speaks so much on our God given biblical authority, this book opened my eyes to so much more. It challenged me and I believe it will challenge everyone!  Become a hero or become a prisone r of war because whether you like it or not there is a spiritual war going on and you and I are smack dab in the middle of it. God can take moments in your life and make them teachable moments, just open your heart for it. Today as I was running around doing errands with my kids an interesting notification popped up on my phone. But first, let me give you a little bit of the back story. I recently posted a video of a poem that God has given me on my public page on Facebook, I felt prompt from God to share it.....So I did and I embraced myself because what I wrote was very personal to me, even though I have shared the poem publicly at my church, I felt like I was becoming  more transparent to the rest of the world. However, I knew that God wanted me to share so I did.  So back to that notification. As my eyes search for the message,  all of a sudden my heart sank and I felt this slight sting. Life is full of lessons, either we welcome it or we run away from it , embrace it or fight it. I have seen so many people  including myself that refused to learn the hard lessons in life and wonder why the cycle never ends, what is missing?  You may wonder, what about abuse? rape? death? and rejections? etc...  Yes, those are life experiences that are hard to overcome and I do come from a back round of abuse.  I can say this, I did learn something out of that, it is that the enemy wants to destroy each and every single one of us and he would love to keep us in bondage.
