Life as lessons

Life is full of lessons, either we welcome it or we run away from it , embrace it or fight it. I have seen so many people  including myself that refused to learn the hard lessons in life and wonder why the cycle never ends, what is missing?
You may wonder, what about abuse? rape? death? and rejections? etc...  Yes, those are life experiences that are hard to overcome and I do come from a back round of abuse.  I can say this, I did learn something out of that, it is that the enemy wants to destroy each and every single one of us and he would love to keep us in bondage. He wants to keep us quiet, to keep us hating,  to keep us full of resentment, stressed out, blinded, fearful, and keep us far away as possible from knowing the whole truth of the living word because he fears of what you and I may become in the future for  God's kingdom.

I did run, I did not want to confront the emotions that I worked so hard to become numb to. I built walls to secure my self, walls thick enough that essentially shut God out.

But what I did not realize at the time was that the waves that were meant  to crush me are the same waves that would lift me higher.

The hard lessons, the pressure, the struggles can makes you stronger, when you realize that it doesn't define you  but mold you and you become aware of who you are in him You become very dangerous to the enemy.

What was meant to destroy you, God's turns it around and makes it a work of art. The storms in our lives refines us. However, all this requires you and I to surrender to his will.

I encourage you to let go, confront the fears, when life doesn't make sense hang on to  His promises, His words.

He will never let you down.

Lord, even when your path takes me through
The valley of deepest darkness
Fear will never conquer me, for you already have!
You remain close to me and lead me through it all the way.
Your authority is my strength and my peace.
The comfort of your love takes away my fear.
I'll never be lonely, for you are near. Psalms 23:4 TPT

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,
whenever you face trials of many kinds,
because you know that the testing of your faith
produces perseverance.
Let perseverance finish its work so that you
may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:2-4
