Forgive

One of the most challenging parts of life is to FORGIVE and LET GO. I wonder how many hurt people carry their pain around as a thorn on their side and live like its  normal to carry around? Like the pain of  resentment, bitterness, condemnation, guilt, etc.... We all fail, we all make mistakes, we may say our genuine apologies but when the tables are turned, when someone that you love and care for hurts you, how quick are you to forgive, let go and let God take a hold of that pain? Several months ago someone that I love dearly hurt me, the individual said words that penetrated my inner most being, it cut me and I bled, till this day my wounded heart is still tender. We both were at a wrong, we both said things that should have not been said, we both had our valid points but I didn't  act accordingly. I was not the bigger person, I did not let the spirit lead me, instead I let my flesh take over. Granted we cannot let people abuse and mistreat us but we cannot be so quick t

Waiting!

While most of us are in a hurry in life, it seems God is usually not in a hurry.  The problem with waiting is not having all the details. From our perspective, we have everything figured out and we want God to move within our time frame.  God rarely does things according to our time frame, and we may get discouraged.  However, waiting helps build patience in our lives,  it changes our character, it builds intimacy and dependency.  In the book of  Habakkuk  2:3 it  says "But these things I plan wont happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, do not despair, for these things will surely come to pass. Just be patient! They will not be overdue a single day!" God has a plan for you and I, what ever that plan may be we all have to go through the process of waiting .
